I trained and practiced dentistry in India before spending time in Canada, where I got a close look at how healthcare systems and clinical workflows operate at a different scale — the infrastructure, the processes, the standard of care that patients simply expect.
Coming back to India, the gap was impossible to ignore. Clinics were running on paper, WhatsApp screenshots, and software that hadn't been meaningfully updated in a decade. The tools didn't match the ambition of the doctors using them.
So I built Proxia from scratch. Not as a tech company that hired a dentist as an advisor — but as a dentist who learned to build software because the problem was too important to leave to someone else.
